Spanberger Was an Early Endorser of Both Kannan Srinivasan & JJ Singh
RICHMOND, Va. — U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger tonight released the following statement after Del. Kannan Srinivasan secured a victory in Virginia Senate District 32 and JJ Singh secured a victory in Virginia House of Delegates District 26 — maintaining a Democratic majority.
“Tonight, Virginia voters sent a clear message: they want sensible leaders who get things done.
“Kannan Srinivasan and JJ Singh believe in the promise of this country. They believe that our children deserve strong public schools. They believe that the rights of our fellow Virginians should always be protected. And they believe in building a Virginia economy that works for every one of our neighbors. They will deliver real results for Loudoun County in the General Assembly.
“Even in the wake of a significant snowstorm, Virginians made sure to exercise their right to vote, participate in our democracy, and make their voices heard. I’d like to extend my congratulations to both Senator-elect Srinivasan and Delegate-elect Singh — and I know they will stand firm for the principles we share as Virginians.”

Spanberger was an early endorser of both Srinivasan and Singh. On Sunday, Spanberger rallied volunteers and supporters for Srinivasan and Singh ahead of Tuesday’s critical special election.
