Congresswoman: “Our District’s Families, Seniors, & Small Businesses Will Continue to Have Responsive, Commonsense Representation in Congress”
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger tonight released the following statement after Eugene Vindman secured victory in Virginia’s Seventh District.
“Tonight, I’d like to congratulate Eugene Vindman and his family on this well-earned victory.
“Serving Virginia’s Seventh District in the U.S. House has been the greatest honor of my life. I’m proud to know that our district’s families, seniors, and small businesses will continue to have responsive, commonsense representation.
“In Congress, Eugene will bring the values, work ethic, and commitment to public service that the Seventh District deserves. As a father of two kids, he understands the importance of strong schools, safer communities, and more opportunities for the next generation of Virginians. And as a 25-year U.S. Army Veteran, he will be a tireless voice for our district’s thousands of active-duty servicemembers, Veterans, and military families.
“In the coming weeks, I look forward to working with Congressman-Elect Vindman to deliver a smooth transition for the people of the Seventh District.”
