Volunteer Organizing Fellowship

Abigail Spanberger’s 2025 campaign for Governor is seeking highly organized, driven, and enthusiastic team players to join their growing organizing team. This opportunity is geared towards individuals looking to learn from and be a part of one of the most high-profile races in the nation in 2025. 

This is a hybrid remote/in-person volunteer position requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week. Ability to easily travel within the Commonwealth to attend in-person events and door-to-door canvassing is required.

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Build grassroots support by reaching out to and persuading voters directly through door-to-door canvassing, phonebanking, petition-collecting, and other direct voter contact (DVC) tactics.
  • Work with and learn from our full-time organizing team.
  • Support the recruitment, management, and training of a diverse team of volunteers across Virginia.
  • Staff and or attend events that include but are not limited to: in-person canvasses, phonebanks, ballot petitioning, and community meetings.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Willingness to work in the field office and in the community you are assigned.
  • Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
  • Access to a cell phone, laptop, and ability to easily travel.
  • Passionate about Congresswoman Spanberger’s campaign for Governor.
