Spanberger “Says [Her Plan] Would Help Save Southwest Virginia Taxpayers Money and Drive Down Drug Costs”
BRISTOL, Va. — Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger continued to outline her plan to lower Virginians’ healthcare and prescription drug costs in a new report from News 5 WCYB in Bristol, Virginia.
Spanberger shared how she has heard from Southwest Virginia residents whose high healthcare and prescription drug costs are creating significant financial burdens. Last week, she announced her plan to make healthcare more affordable for Virginia families and seniors.
“Healthcare is so frequently one of the top issues that keeps so many Virginians up at night,” said Spanberger.
Spanberger also made clear how as the next Governor of Virginia, she will listen to Southwest Virginians about the challenges their families and communities are facing — and work to get things done.
“We need to have a focus on what might be the unique needs of Southwest Virginia,” continued Spanberger. “And we need a Governor who is going to spend time there, is going to spend time focused on listening to people about what some of the challenges are.”
