Abigail Spanberger’s 2025 campaign for Governor is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic team player to join our growing team. This opportunity is geared towards individuals looking to be a part of the most high-profile race in the nation in 2025.
The Regional Finance Director will report directly to the Deputy Finance Director. This is a full-time position based in Northern Virginia.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads day-to-day fundraising operations in the region, serving as a primary point of contact for donors and stakeholders and managing a team of finance associates.
- Collaborates with the Deputy Finance Director to develop and maintain event projections for the region within the overall finance plan.
- Manages logistics for fundraising events in the region, including outreach, RSVP tracking, and coordination with guests, hosts, and raisers.
- Prepares detailed briefing materials for candidate events and donor meetings.
- Provides regular progress updates and reports to the Deputy Finance Director and Finance Director.
- Assists with donor acknowledgments and stewardship.
- Supports compliance processes, including in-kind contribution forms, receipt tracking, and adherence to campaign finance laws.
- Provides transportation and staffing support for the candidate at fundraising events, donor meetings, and other campaign events as needed.
- Attend in person events and meetings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least one previous cycle of political fundraising experience.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Capacity to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Experience with NGP, ActBlue, and Google Suite products and the ability to learn new software programs quickly.
Compensation:
$6,250/month, commensurate with experience. Health, vision, and dental insurance are included with Employee premiums covered 100% by Spanberger for Governor.
