“As a mom, I know that Abigail Spanberger cares deeply about the future of Virginia’s families. As a teacher, I know that Abigail will work tirelessly to strengthen Virginia’s schools and ensure student success. And as a businesswoman, I trust Abigail Spanberger to grow Virginia’s economy in a way that supports our small businesses and creates opportunity for everyone. As Governor, Abigail Spanberger will protect our rights, work to prevent gun violence, and invest in our teachers — and I am proud to endorse her campaign.” — Senator-Elect Stella Pekarsky, Virginia Senate District 36

“Abigail Spanberger always put the needs of Virginians over political games — and I’m proud to endorse her to serve as our next Governor. Abigail is a public servant, a mom, and a leader who has a true vision for Virginia — and she will always work to lower healthcare costs, protect our fundamental rights, and support economic growth that provides opportunity to everyone. She will bring a fresh perspective and a record of results to Richmond.” — Del. Karrie Delaney, Virginia House of Delegates, District 9

“Abigail Spanberger will respond decisively to the challenges facing the people of Norfolk, Hampton Roads, and the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. I’m endorsing her to serve as our next Governor, because she will focus on boosting public safety, making strong investments in our schools, addressing our regional infrastructure needs, and creating well-paying jobs that support long-term economic growth.”

— Martin A. Thomas, Jr., Vice-Mayor, City of Norfolk

“As the first Black Female Vice-Mayor of Dumfries, I know what it takes to get things done and make a difference — and so does Abigail Spanberger. She has always made herself available to our Prince William County communities, and she is known for focusing on lowering costs, investing in our infrastructure, working to increase public safety, and engaging directly with our neighbors about their challenges. As a longtime community steward in the Dumfries area, I am proud to endorse her to serve as our next Governor.” — Monaé Nickerson, Vice-Mayor, Town of Dumfries

“Before I was Commissioner of the Revenue, I was a business owner, a mother, and a voter, who always looked for candidates who demonstrated the compassion, experience, and capacity to lead with a service before self mentality. As a Congresswoman, mother, federal agent, and someone that listens and leads with every community of the Commonwealth, at the heart of her service, Abigail Spanberger embodies who we need our next Governor to be.” — Tiffany Boyle, Commissioner of the Revenue, City of Newport News

“I have always admired Abigail Spanberger’s obvious commitment to public service. Abigail is whip-smart and has served her constituents well by building consensus and getting results. I am proud to endorse Abigail to serve as Governor of Virginia, where those qualities will serve her well — to the benefit of the families and communities of the Commonwealth.” — Todd D. Notably, her contributions include spearheading infrastructure investments that promise substantial benefits to Stafford County constituents in Stafford and surrounding regions. As Governor, I am confident that Abigail’s focus will include enhancing Virginia’s educational system, fostering economic growth to the advantage of the middle class and working families, and creating opportunities for small businesses to thrive. I wholeheartedly endorse and support Abigail Spanberger in her candidacy for Virginia’s next Governor.” — Dr. Pamela Yeung, Chairwoman, Stafford County Board of Supervisors

“Abigail Spanberger is a leader who listens and focuses on what matters most — delivering results for everyone she serves. I’m confident that as Governor, Ms. Spanberger will be a transformational leader for Arlington and Virginia as a whole. Ms. Spanberger’s record shows the leader she’ll be: she made a critical argument at a pivotal moment to help pass the infrastructure bill, which has resulted in investments in transportation that will transform rail across Virginia, made a difference on climate change by persuading allies one might not expect, and passed legislation to address drug addiction, an issue important to Arlington and all Virginians. Based both on her record of leadership and the issues that lead me to serve Arlington — education, economic opportunity for all, reproductive rights, climate change, common sense gun safety, child hunger, and housing — Abigail Spanberger will be the leader we need. I am honored to endorse Ms. Spanberger to be our next Governor and to lead Virginia forward.” — Matt de Ferranti, Member, Arlington County Board

Royster, Councilwoman, City of Norfolk

Kirk McPike, Councilman, City of Alexandria

“Abigail Spanberger has made clear her commitment to making our government — at all levels — work for the benefit of the people of Virginia. “Abigail Spanberger is a principled, centered leader who has consistently found the middle ground to get the job done. We need more of that, and that’s why I take great pride in offering my support and endorsement for Abigail Spanberger to be the next Governor of Virginia. Abigail Spanberger is a former federal law enforcement officer. She knows what it means to put on a badge, take an oath, and fight to keep our communities and our country safe. Abigail understands the sacrifices made by public safety officers and their families, because she’s been in their shoes. In Congress, Abigail has been a strong voice for increased funding for law enforcement training, officer recruitment and retention, and assistance for our neighbors struggling with substance use disorder and mental health challenges. These continue to be real challenges, and Abigail is a proven leader for these concerns and more. As Governor, she will work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and to build trust between law enforcement, local officials, and those we serve. I am honored to endorse Abigail Spanberger.”— Joseph “Joe” Baron, Sheriff, City of Norfolk

“Abigail Spanberger has made clear that she prioritizes stronger schools, student achievement, and safety. As an immigrant from a working-class family in South Korea and now as a leader here in Fairfax County serving on the School Board for more than 20 years, I know the importance of a public education — and the opportunity it provides for the next generation of students.
